Pleated filter candles

Our pleated filter candles are developed and manufactured in customer-specific projects. Pleated filter candles offer a pleated surface structure that can increase the surface area of a filter by up to factor 7 (700% of the flat cylindrical area). To increase surface area also in small available spaces we use our fteu MicroPleats with a minimum pleating height of 2.3mm . Our pleated filter candles are fully suitable for backflushing processes . The filtration media are combined by slotted screens, perforated metal, or other support frames. Pleated filter candles empower an enhanced performance of the customer process as the increase dirthold-capacity leads to longer runtimes, reduced pressure, and increased throughput potential .
